1. I'm feeling pretty good about my apartment garden. The secret-terra cotta pots! I moved most of my plants into terra cotta pots and I wish I would have started on that route and saved my money. I turned my decorative pots into raincatchers. They didn't have drainage holes and that was no good with our crazy weather. My giant pot that I imagined being big and full of vegetation, I've turned into a pseudo compost/extra dirt bin.
2. I'm excited for etsy! I have a semi plan for an update. I have invested in supplies and now I just need to jump in. This is my first go at an etsy update in which I have to invest some of my time & money. Photographs are rather carefree. I wish to begin tomorrow and hopefully to be ready to update by Sunday. Hopefully!
3. I have been doing Shred for 3 days now. The idea came from Kal. I looked at the video a couple times and just decided to go for it. It's a challenge and I'm sore, but I like the system jillian uses, and it's only twenty min. It's over before you know it. It is a wise investment and I recommend it. The bf tried it today. He works out regularly and it kinda kicked his ass!
4. Four day work week!! Only four days until Atlanta! Excited!
5. I had a good weekend. I enjoy the cool rainy afternoons. I like the windows and door open with the wind blowing in. It's peaceful and it chills the puppies out. They sit and watch the rain, and I watch them. It's good times.
6. With doing shred comes trying to eat better.I found vitamins on sale for $2. Also, I stocked up on better groceries and plan to not eat lunch out for the month of June. It's a challenge.
7. Speaking of challenges, I challenge myself to not buy a single piece of clothing or footwear for the rest of the year! I am only allowing myself to acquire clothing by making my own. Sewing clothing has been crossing my mind lately. Also, I splurged this weekend and have come to realize I need to stop the beast! Seven months & not a single article of clothing purchased is my super challenge for myself! Wish me lots of luck and willpower!
8. Our apartments are nestled off the main road with a field and woods to keep us safe and happy. Many don't know our apts exist. With the field and woods comes bunnies, birds, and a one time spotting of a fox. I want the birdies to visit us. I set up a feeder tonight so hopefully they will stop on by. My doggie, Bradley, used to watch birdies with my mom & I think I'm turning into her a lttle bit. Ha.
9. My second mom gave me aloe, a fertilty plant, and a jade cutting. I am excited for plants in my potty!
Nine is a good number and my phones about to die. Goodnight moon. Thank you soldiers.
