just gettin around to what happened this weekend.

montgomery adventures were had. melly and i scoped out a home being built for EXTREME MAKEOVER: HOME EDITION! rather exciting to say we saw it before it was on tv, but kind of sad because we went when there weren't any designers there. we should have checked out sears or home depot to see if we could find them. oh well. we got to rock it old school and ride on a school bus to the home site.

then we went to the zoo. it was a little too chilly for most of the animals. i thought it was a good idea because in the summer all the animals want to do is lay around, well they do the same thing when it's cool. oh well. it was fun, and we walked alot.

then we went and looked at puppies at a petshop. there was an extremely over-priced daschaund baby that melted my heart. i wanted her. too bad i would have had to finance her.

then onto petsmart we went, where i almost seriously bought a full grown 11lb cat named shari. this picture is wrong on so many levels. 1. taking a cat home from montgomery. not wise. 2. this cat is way bigger than my dog who has ruled the roost for his five years. 3. shari!? wtf! i'm all for naming animals people names, but a grey tabby cat, with intense green eyes...not really a shari in my book....

i had wanted to buy one thing on our adventure. new jeans. that didnt work out and i missed out eating at east side grill. it was closed.

so that is that..

another work week a chuggin...

counting down til the weekend & until ryan adams+ross bridge. happy. can't wait til march 6th!!

i miss taking photos. my job numbs me. my brain is numb. my attitude is sucky. this job is not all it has cracked up to be. there are lots of bad words that could be said....
it directly affects life. it sucks. i want out. i want to be me again. i'm tired of the way my job makes me feel.
on the bright side.. i have been dreaming of gardens. i bought two flower pots at the hobby lobby with my valentines gift card, and there is a planter i like at lowes. i need flowers to brighten my life.....
i am looking into going back to school and finding a new job....

i'm very excited....
i have gotten a few duds in the swap dept. so i'm hoping these will be better....

oh i'm greeeedy....

i've been wanting lots of new things....

clothes, craftstuffs, homestuff, furniture, etc.

i've been thinking about getting a kitten. thinking very hard. i want a little kitten. i have a name, just no kitten to stick it to..
what would my pups do? ....be very jealous. then hopefully make a friend.

complaint of the complainers

this week there is below freezing temperatures in alabama. and guess what, there are lots of complainers! it's sooo aggravating that it is winter and it is cold and the vast majority of the people feel the need to gripe at the fact it's actually acting like winter.

my two responses....it's winter & maybe it'll kill off all the spiders.

i don't necessarily like being cold, but i like that it is winter and it's acting like it.

the air is crisp and feels magical.

most people making it to their cars and into the grocery store fail to realize that running makes it feel even more windy. silly people.

& i believe hallmark was thoughtful in putting valentines in a frosty month....
